Tracking the evolution of audio consumption, and its implications for broadcasters and advertisers

2022 marks the 13th year of Radio on the Move, our annual survey of Canadians and their audio listening habits.

Radio on the Move 2022 collects the opinions and media habits of more than 4,000 Canadian adults to identify emerging trends in the Canadian audio landscape over the past year. With fieldwork conducted in late March and early April 2022, this year’s study captures Share of Audio as Canada emerged from COVID, updates the evolving, increasingly digital, role played by AM/FM radio for both listeners and advertisers, in-car audio consumption, and explores need states for different types of audio.
